The Design House 728303 Passage Knob does not lock and is used in bedrooms, hallways and other rooms where privacy is not important. Features two, non-locking knobs, one on each side of the door. Finished in polished brass and designed for left or right hand doors, this knob fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4-inch and 2-3/8-inch). Use this knob on standard 1-3/8-inch and 1-3/4-inch thick doors with a cross bore 2-1/8 in dia or edge bore 1-1/16 in dia. (1 in. x 2-1/4 in. radius corner faceplate). The Passage Knob is ideal for install on closet, hallway and bedroom doors and not intended for locking purposes.
